Taking Part in SDW InterOp 2016

 The SDW InterOp 2016 event is open to:

  • Document (booklets or cards) providers supporting SAC - plus providers of inlays and chip operating systems;
  • Document verification system providers;
  • Observers.

Early booking is recommended.

The deadline for guaranteeing a place at this event is 1 April 2016.

Document and Verification System Providers

Benefits of participating at SDW InterOp 2016 include:

Document provider:

  • Public visibility as a SAC capable vendor;
  • Receipt of a conformity test summary (SAC subset, no formal conformity test report);
  • Checking/increasing interoperability with verification systems;
  • Opportunity for expert discussions to resolve pending issues;
  • Access to the final session of SDW 2016 on 12th May, which will cover ePassport Developments and will include the findings from SDW InterOp 2016.

Verification system provider:

  • Public visibility as an SAC capable vendor;
  • A testing position allocated in the InterOp area;
  • Access to various document samples;
  • Checking/increasing interoperability with SAC documents;
  • Opportunity for expert discussions to resolve pending issues;
  • Access to the final session of SDW 2016 on 12th May, which will cover ePassport Developments and will include the findings from SDW InterOp 2016.

The cost of participation for all document providers and verification system providers is set at: £1250+VAT, if applicableThis includes participation in the SDW InterOp event for two members of staff, including lunch vouchers on 10-11th May. To book as both a document provider and a verification system provider will cost £2500+VAT, if applicable.

Observer Status

Observers will be entitled to:

  • Access to SDW InterOp 2016 testing hall;
  • Ability to observe the tests and gather information;
  • Access to the final session of SDW 2016 on 12th May which will cover ePassport Developments and will include the findings from SDW InterOp 2016;
  • Access to the SDW 2016 Exhibition on 11-12th May and the Exhibition Hall reception on 11th May.

In order to become an observer at the SDW InterOp 2016 event the cost is as follows:

  • Existing SDW 2016 delegates - FREE
  • Observer Status Only - £299+VAT (includes lunch vouchers on 10-11th May)
